You can display a footer at the end of all your Pageflow Next stories. The footer can include links to your legal notice, copyright, and privacy pages, as well as custom links, a text line, and logos. Links can be organized in groups with headings and arranged in rows or columns.
Enabling the Footer
To enable the footer, visit the Settings page and select Theme in the sidebar. Then click on the Footer tab.
Check the Display footer in all entries checkbox and click Save. The footer will now appear at the end of all your published Pageflow Next stories.
Configuring Links
The Links setting holds one or more groups of links. Click a group's Add link button to open a menu with the link types you can add:
Predefined links – These include links to your Legal notice, Copyright, and Privacy pages, plus a Privacy Settings link that lets visitors reopen the consent layer. The link labels and URLs of the legal notice and copyright links are configured in the Site > Info Box settings. Each predefined link can be used only once. If you don't want it to appear in the footer, remove it with the X button – it returns to the menu, so you can add it back or place it in a different group later.
Social media profile – Add a link to one of your social media profiles.
Text/URL – Add your own links to the footer. You enter the link text and the URL yourself and can link to any address you like, such as your main website.
Use the drag handle to the left of a link to change its position within its group or to move it to another group.
Adding Social Media Links
Choose Social media profile from the add menu to link to one of your profiles. Select the Platform – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Mastodon or Bluesky – and enter the URL of your profile.
Social media links are displayed with the platform's brand icon in front of the platform name. The size of the icon follows the Spacing option: looser spacing also renders larger icons.
Grouping Links
Click Add group below the list to create another group. As soon as there is more than one group, each group gets a Heading field. Leave it blank to display the group's links without a heading. Groups can be reordered by their drag handle just like links.
To remove a group, first move or delete all of its links. The Delete group button then appears inside the empty group. Groups without links never show up in the footer, which also means groups that only contain predefined links you have not configured yet are left out.
Translating Links
A site can contain stories in different languages. Group headings, the text and URL of custom links, and the URL of social media links can be translated per language, so that each story displays the footer in its own language. See How can I translate footer and legal info links? for how to enter translations.
Arranging Links
The Link arrangement option displays groups either as rows below each other or as columns side by side, and the Spacing option scales the distances between links, groups, and columns. The Layout option controls where the text line and logo sit relative to the links. See How can I change the layout and spacing of the footer? for all arrangement options.
Adding a Text Line
The Text line field allows you to add a short text that appears in the footer. This can be used for copyright notices, taglines, or other brief information. The text supports basic formatting and links.
Adding Logos
Expand the Logos section to upload logos that appear in the footer. You can upload separate logo versions for light and dark appearance modes, as well as different versions for desktop and mobile layouts.
