Core Servers and Databases
The main Pageflow application servers and databases are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. This is where your account data, story content, and all related metadata are stored and processed.
Backups
Backups are stored on AWS S3 in Germany (eu-central-1, Frankfurt).
Uploaded Files
Files you upload (images, videos, audio) are stored on AWS S3 in the EU (eu-central-1, Frankfurt and eu-west-1, Ireland).
Content Delivery Network (CDN)
Published stories are delivered to readers worldwide via the bunny.net CDN, a European provider based in Slovenia. The CDN caches and serves your published content from edge servers close to your readers for optimal performance.
Video and Audio Transcoding
Uploaded video and audio files are transcoded into optimized formats for web playback by Brightcove (Zencoder) in the United States. This processing only applies to media files intended for publishing in your stories – no personal data is involved.
